Last week, the Gendayo team had the opportunity to attend Tech Arena 2026 in Stockholm — one of Scandinavia's biggest tech gatherings bringing together founders, builders, investors and thinkers from across Europe and beyond.

Gendayo at Tech Arena 2026

From the moment we walked into the venue, the energy was electric. It was not just another conference — it felt like a snapshot of where tech, community, and real-world impact are converging.

1. Conversations That Matter

What stood out most was the quality of conversations. We met founders building everything from logistics platforms to climate-tech, and each one had a shared sense of purpose: using technology to solve real problems, not just build products.

For Gendayo, these conversations were more than networking — they were fuel for our vision of improving urban mobility. We discussed challenges like last-mile reliability, safety in transport, and community-driven design, which are central to what we want to build.

"People don't remember features — they remember experiences."

That quote kept popping up in talks and conversations, and it resonates deeply with how we think about Gendayo.

2. Key Talks That Changed How We Think

Several sessions focused on:

  • What are the defining trends in mobility & transport
  • What's next for smart cities
  • Human-centric design in tech solutions
  • Building trust in community platforms
  • Sustainability as a business imperative

One panel reminded us that technology without empathy doesn't move people — it only moves data. This insight is now embedded in how we think about features like trip feedback, safety prompts, and real-time community support.

3. New Connections, New Possibilities

One of the best parts of attending Tech Arena was the unexpected connections. We spoke with:

  • Potential partners who are curious about mobility data
  • Investors interested in African urban solutions
  • Other founders eager to collaborate on integrated transit networks

One conversation stood out: a logistics founder asked us how shared mobility data could help predict demand patterns across African cities. That's exactly the kind of thinking that excites us — tech that serves multiple use cases while improving people's lives.

We left with a list of ideas, follow-ups and — most importantly — the sense that Gendayo is part of a larger story about connected cities and connected people.

The future of mobility is collaborative. And it's already being built.
